Our Brewer Round Solid Fuel Birdguard is made in our own factory here in England from either aluminium or stainless steel and then powder coated if required. We recommend the stainless steel version for solid fuel systems especially when burning coals and smokeless fuels which are more corrosive than other fuel types.

Very easy fitting – assuming you can get to the chimney top of course! Only just fitted so can’t comment on efficiency but seems well made – and should certainly stop jackdaws from falling down the chimney which is what I bought it for.

The chimney cowl is fine, and was easy to fix. Unfortunately we bought it to stop a leak, which we have discovered is down to damaged flashing. But it offers protection from rain and birds.
