The best chimney cowl is the one that matches the identified problem, connected appliance, fuel, flue and chimney-pot dimensions. Appearance and price matter, but safe compatibility comes first.
Rain caps and weather-protective cowls shelter the open pot while preserving the outlet required for their approved application.
