How should I measure my chimney pot?
Measure horizontally across the outside of the pot at its widest point. Use the external measurement, not the internal opening.
Can this cap be used on an active chimney?
No. This product is only for a permanently disused or redundant flue. It must not be fitted to a chimney serving an active appliance.
Does the chimney cap completely seal the flue?

The C-Cap 300mm chimney cap is a fantastic product, really robust and took 30 seconds to fit, 2 screws hold the sprung legs in place, they are very robust and a little force is needed to push them into the chimney pot all at the same time, but once all are inside it simply slips into place, the insect mesh is a fantastic addition to this item too.
