Made for a particular requirement

It’s always lovely to hear back from our customers — and even better when they send photographs of our products once they’re installed.

For this project, we produced a bespoke chimney cowl with the addition of bird spikes. Our customer kindly shared these photographs of the completed installation, giving us a chance to see the finished result in its rooftop setting.

The photographs show the spiked fittings alongside other cowls on the chimney stack. With their warm, terracotta-coloured appearance, the fittings sit neatly against the existing chimney pots, while the added spikes are clearly visible above the caps.

A small detail with a specific purpose

The additional bird spikes were incorporated to help discourage birds from landing and perching on the top of the fitting. It’s a practical example of how an extra detail can be included when a customer has a particular requirement.
