I would personally like to thank everyone who was kind enough to support me in the 2007 London Marathon. I received an immense amount of phrase and encouragement both prior and during the event. I' am extremely pleased to announce that we raised over £1000.00 for the Charity "Get Kids Going" and specking with an official from the Charity she would personally like to thank everyone who sponsored the occasion.
I promised myself that I would never put myself through the challenge again but after a couple of weeks rest I aim to take part in 2008.
Get Kids Going! is a National charity which gives disabled children and young people - up to the age of 26 yrs - the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport.
Get Kids Going help promote sports for disabled children by providing them with specially built sports’ wheelchairs so they can do marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, basketball etc. Get Kids Going! also helps and encourages British disabled children to compete by supporting them with their sports; training, physiotherapy, travel, design and development of sports’ wheelchairs. With your help many could become record holders and Paralympic champions!
